Ethram Fal
Damage types:
- Boss main attack: physical damage
- Scorpions: physical damage
- Seeds of life: poison damage
- Affliction: unholy damage
- Mortar (placed by lotus fixation): unholy
- Vicious seed: poison
Everyone should have at least 9k health around 15% unholy protection.
Set up:
- 3 tanks on the boss
- 1 tank on seeds of life
- 3 tanks & 1 healer on scorpions
- 4-5 ranged dps & 1 healer on living lotus
Casts:
- Regression is cast on the aggro holder who needs to go into the bombs to remove the debuff after another tank takes aggro of the boss
- Vicious Seed - is a Green Swirl around yourself and at the end of the cast a plant will spawn and you will take minor poison damage.
- Mortar (Lotus fixation) is a Red Swirl around yourself at the end of the cast it will kill any plants you are close to, so run to the plants and wait for the timer to run out you will also take some unholy damage at the end of the cast.
- Affliction - White Cloud around yourself at the end of the cast will do unholy damage on whoever is between yourself and the boss, so the more people between you and the boss the better as it will likely do massive damage if you take the damage alone.
- Living Lotus places bombs on the players furthest away so ranged will place them together moving between 3 spots so that the main tanks can use the bombs to remove regression.
- Siphon at 75/50/25% avoid the green spores and stay away from the plants to take less damage.
The fight:
From 100-25% the plants will be placed in the right-hand side of the room bunched together, and the ranged group will be towards the back wall, the image below gives an idea of how it should look:

So how we deal with the boss up until 25% is to have the 3 tanks on the boss tanking until the boss casts regression and then another tank takes over (most likely with goad) and then the tank with regression explodes the bombs placed by living lotus, so it is important that no one else explodes the bombs. All the plants should be placed in the same location and then whoever has the kill buff should go there to kill the active plants. The scorpion tanks will pull them a little away from the plants and when they are almost killed bring them back to the plants to make sure they die on top of the plants. Scorpions need to be killed at the right time so that there aren’t any extra plants spawned. If there are more than 3 scorpions at a time then it will be a wipe, so timing when to kill the scorpions is important.
After 25%:
We will move over to the left-hand side of the room, there will now be two vicious seeds for every one mortar. The first mortar (kill buff) after 25% goes on the old spot to kill whatever plants are still alive from earlier. After that both plants are spawned on top of each other and are killed off with the next mortar, ten the next two seeds go together in a different spot on top of each other and the next mortar would kill them off. The tanks not on the boss will now pick up the scorpions and kite them away whilst the rest of the raid focuses DPS on the main boss.
